Tahiti peninsula which is next door has lots to offer in term of land and water activities (hiking, lagoon tours). View on the mountains and panorama are spectacular!
Finally we would like to share with you a little bit of history. Indeed the Tahiti Private Island belongs to the grandchildren of the famed American novelist, James Norman Hall, co-author of the world renowned novel, Mutiny of the Bounty. There is a museum not to be missed on the north coast of Tahiti, dedicated to his life and story. The museum is actually the author’s home, where he lived for over 30 years and wrote his novels.

The Private Island was promised to the Author’s Tahitian born son, Conrad L. Hall, at age 3. Conrad was famous in his own right, becoming one of the most important cinematographers in American Cinema, earning 3 Oscars for the films, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, American Beauty, and Road to Perdition. When Conrad wasn’t filming a movie he was living on his private island and bringing the dream to life. Now his children have followed in his footsteps, working in Cinema Television, caring for their little piece of paradise and now for the first time, they are offering it to other families and friends to enjoy as they have done for a lifetime.
